AC Shadows Reveals Surprising AoT Crossover for Thanksgiving

In a surprising crossover event that breaks usual forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Disclosed

According to the formal release, "A mysterious confrontation draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where whispers of banned ceremonies and fearsome transformations resonate through the shadows." The narrative introduces a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine group.

The adventure concentrates on "peculiar trials and a terrifying enemy" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Changes

The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a striking moment showing a character, presumably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Prizes and Additional Material

Players who successfully complete the mission will receive an special katana together with several artifacts hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

This update also introduces the game's latest no-cost story content, titled "The Mystery." True to its name, "The Mystery" also contains a new environmental puzzle that may finally shed light on some unanswered questions from the main storyline.
